The Quinta Dos Padres Santos has a lovely pool terrace and spa, perfect for relaxation. The hotel offers a family-like atmosphere and a beautiful setting, nestled in nature. The room had a new technology of cooled floors that were highly effective, without any noise or air currents from air conditioning. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. The hotel also arranges activities such as visiting wine lodges, many of which are free, providing a great experience.

One of the most amazing places I have ever stayed!! If you are looking for a relaxing place off the beaten track to experience Portugal’s wine country, this is it. Wish I could have stayed a whole week! The staff is super kind and friendly, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location is gorgeous, with a fabulous view from the swimming pool. The jacuzzi is a nice feature in rainy days. The hotel stands alone by a valley, in a nature setting. The breakfast was quite nice, mainly from the local.

Loved the quiet location in the beautiful Douro Valley, perfect for a romantic escape. The helpful staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs. The evening meal was absolutely delicious, with a variety of Portuguese dishes that left us wanting more. It was a wonderful experience to relax by the pool and take walks through the cherry groves by the river.

There were a few minor inconveniences. It would have been helpful to have a place in the bathroom to put our toiletries and a few hooks to hang towels.
